I am in the process of fixing a terrible clanking/knocking noise in my engine. I am hoping its somewhere in the valvetrain (push rod or lifter). I have the valve covers off, and everything so far looks ok. My next step is to remove the intake to inspect the lifters. Anyone have experience doing this? With everyone in Indy for the Bud Wolf show, I thought I would offer up to anyone wanting to stop by and lend a hand with my issue, I would supply the beer! ;D This is a new area for me, and I am not sure what I am getting into. Someone that has done this before and is willing to stop by, I would GREATLY appreciate it. I need to resolve this quickly, or I wont be going to St. Louis. If interested, I am on the south side of Indy, right off I-65 (exit 98 - County Line Road). If you can't stop by, words of ecouragement or any "tips & tricks" are much appreciate also! Thanks guys!!
